The Appalachia Archive Explorer solves a major problem for Fallout 76 modders and creators: finding exactly which of the 40 official game archives contains a specific asset. In standard Creation Engine installations, searching through over 80 gigabytes of compressed BA2 files requires either extracting all archives to disk or opening each container individually in desktop tools like Archive2 or B.A.E.

Using our indexed SQLite database, you can search for texture files (.dds), 3D model meshes (.nif), Havok ragdoll and behavior graphs (.hkx), voice actor audio (.fuz), sound effects (.xwm, .wav), and Flash Scaleform UI components (.swf) in milliseconds.
