About Us

We built F76.WORLD because we were tired of wrestling with outdated modding tools.

If you tried extracting a Fallout 76 BA2 archive after the Skyline Valley update, you know exactly what I mean. The Creation Engine shifted to the v7 header format. The old community extractors threw memory errors, crashed to desktop, or just spat out corrupted DX10 textures. Mod authors lost weeks of work trying to manually hex-edit headers just to view a single NIF mesh.

That broke our workflow. So we fixed it.

F76.WORLD is an engineering initiative by owlyyy industries. We reverse-engineered the Next-Gen BA2 header format and built a toolkit that parses Gamebryo 20.2.0.7 archives directly in your browser. No sketchy executable downloads. No command-line python scripts that break on Windows 11. Just drop your .ba2 or .nif file into the app, and our WebAssembly core maps the binary structure instantly.

Technical Authority

We don't just write about the Creation Engine. We build for it. Our core toolkits include:

  • BA2 Archive Parser: Downgrades v7 Next-Gen headers to v1 instantly, ensuring backward compatibility with legacy Bethesda tools.
  • NIF Mesh Auditor: Decodes block-types and flags missing textures or corrupted rigid body nodes before you waste hours testing them in-game.

We play Fallout 76. We mod Fallout 76. F76.WORLD is the infrastructure we wished we had three years ago.
